As a life-long lover of all species, it was not shocking when Dr. Reneé Jones selected her academic and career path. Dr. Jones is a proud cum laude honors graduate of Texas A&M University, where she acquired her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She followed that accomplishment with employment at the Dallas Zoo, where she decided to continue her education in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Jones studied and completed her Veterinary Medicine studies at Ross University in the Caribbean. Through this experience, Dr. Jones gained experience working with exotic companions and wildlife. Dr. Jones has diverse veterinary care experiences locally, at Oregon Wildlife Center, and in South Africa.

Dr. Jones is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). She is the loving pet parent of two dogs, Alpha and Omega, and a senior cat, Josh. She is a Fear Free Certified professional who will be honored to be a part of a delicate and meaningful time with your pet. Our PetSmart Veterinary Services: Georgetown team loves Dr. Jones, and we know that your family will, too. We promise to tend to your fur babies with the same care and affection you have for them.

Veronica is a born and raised Texan who currently resides in Jarrell, TX. She has been with Petsmart Veterinary Services since April of 2024 as a veterinary technician.
Veronica has always been an avid animal lover and has been in the Veterinary field since 2009, gaining years of experience from anything from Kennel Technician to Hospital Management.
Veronica is enjoying being a part of a greater community since joining the team with Dr. Jones.
She is growing and learning with an incredible team and looks forward to continuing to bring clients and their pets ongoing compassion and care.

In her free time Veronica enjoys spending time with her fiancé Christina, and their 6 dogs.
